Caring for Life,
Healing Together.
We provide dignified care, shelter, and support to cancer patients and the underprivileged in Zambia. Ensuring no family faces financial ruin because of illness.
Bridging the Gap in Cancer Care
The Mag-Codrington Foundation (MCF) was established to address the critical lack of support for cancer patients in Zambia. From palliative care to providing shelter for rural patients, we are the safety net for those who need it most.

Our Strategic Focus
Comprehensive solutions tackling the cancer burden through four core pillars.
Medical Support
Pain management, chemotherapy support, and home-based palliative care to ensure dignity in healing.
Shelter & Housing
Accommodation for rural patients to ensure treatment adherence, safety, and reduced travel costs.
Advocacy & Policy
Lobbying for better policies, inclusive insurance, and affordable drugs for all citizens.
Disability Inclusion
Ensuring persons with disabilities have access to mobility aids and equal participation opportunities.
Why Our Work Matters
We treat the person, not just the disease. From nutrition to mental health counseling.
Since 2012, we have supported over 35 patients directly and hundreds via outreach.
We specifically target the most vulnerable: the rural poor, the aged, and the disabled.
Voices of Hope
The shelter provided by Mag-Codrington Foundation meant I didn’t have to travel 8 hours back home after every chemo session. It saved my life and gave me peace of mind when I was at my weakest.
